Workload Lifecycle

1. Submit

The requester submits a registered workload, authorized bucket set, parameters and execution policy reference.

2. Select nodes

NOOSChain identifies nodes that hold the required payloads, satisfy bucket replication policy and are eligible under the authorization.

3. Verify and prepare

Each selected node verifies the workload digest, authorization, inputs and local execution policy before creating an isolated runtime.

4. Execute locally

The workload queries permitted bucket data through the local data interface. Raw records remain inside the node unless the output policy explicitly permits their disclosure.

5. Finalize

The node closes the runtime, retains or removes temporary data, stores permitted results and artifacts, and submits a signed execution receipt.

6. Record

The blockchain records the execution outcome and provenance so participants can verify what was authorised, which workload ran and what it produced.
